Rincon Hill

Rincon Hill

Located south of the Financial District Rincon Hill is transforming from a former industrial district to a high-end residential area.

In August 2005, the City adopted the Rincon Hill Plan, which emphasizes tall, slender, and widely spaced towers, interspaced with mid-rise podiums and walk-up townhouses. The Rincon Hill Plan envisions retail shops and neighborhood services along Folsom street along with housing for 20,000 new residents. Rincon Hill’s proximity to the Bay Bridge and Financial District makes it ideal for both pedestrians and commuters alike.
